Ever had a favorite piece of clothing pill? It’s is such a bummer, so that made me wonder if a fabric defuzzer would really work. I decided to try the Conair Complete Care that adjusted to three depths to be used with different kids of fabrics. The shirt was already ruined, so why not give it a try?
The Test of the Conair Defuzzer
I was skeptical and nervous, because how could a fabric shaver that was less than $12 rescue my favorite purple shirt? Ever touched an electric fence? If you’re not from the country, when you touch it you get a little zing. It is enough to keep the animals in, but not enough to hurt anyone. That’s a long explanation to say that I sat hesitant to put the defuzzer to the fabric, just like it was going to shock me like an electric fence. I held my breath and went for it. The directions say to test it out, but the shirt was ruined so I went right for the front.
Test Results Are In!
What the heck? This little bugger is amazing. The fabric defuzzer made the shirt look brand new. It sounds like a swarm of mosquitos on a Minnesota July evening, but who cares! It saved my favorite shirt, is easy to hold, does the job, and was economical. Gets 5 stars from me just for that. There’s a video of the actual test over in the VIP group, and you can watch it HERE.
I can say that it has made me see the world a little differently. Strangers beware, I may notice a little pilling on your shirt from your purse or diaper bag rubbing and whip out my defuzzer like a super woman to save the day. Since I can’t be everywhere, you may want to just pick up your own. I got mine at Target for $11.99 and saved 5% with my red card, plus you’ll need two AA batteries.
Until next time….
